ICC has published an evaluative report detailing how the InGAME project grew scale and value for the Dundee videogames cluster. The report can be downloaded from our Research page

From 2018 through 2023, InGAME was an R&D Centre providing research, support and services for the games and media industry in the city and beyond.

The report joins other organisations’ assessments of the CICP research grant, including an Economic Impact report,  available at innovationforgames.com.

InGAME was dedicated to making Dundee the home of world-leading research and innovation for videogames, interactive media and immersive technologies. It was one of nine creative clusters formed in 2018 as part of the UK Industrial Strategy’s Creative Industries Cluster Programme. InGAME’s work with games companies in the city and beyond was led by Abertay University, in partnership with the University of Dundee, the University of St Andrews, and local and international industry partners. It was funded by an £11-million grant by the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC), with further funding from the Scottish Funding Council, and investment of R&D expertise and technologies from industry and academic partners.
